Welcome to Disneyland California.

This is where the Disney theme park story began. Disneyland Resort in California is home to two incredible theme parks, Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure, bringing together Disney favourites, Pixar, MARVEL, Star Wars and more in the place where Walt Disney first brought his idea for Disneyland to life.

There’s something particularly special about walking into the original Disneyland Park. Sleeping Beauty Castle is waiting at the end of Main Street, U.S.A., classic attractions sit alongside newer adventures and there are little pieces of Disney history everywhere you look.

Then just across the way, Disney California Adventure brings a completely different day, with everything from Cars Land and Pixar Pier to Avengers Campus.

And because both parks sit right beside each other, Disneyland California is wonderfully easy to enjoy. Less travelling between parks means more time actually having fun together.

Where the magic began.

There’s nowhere quite like the original Disneyland. Take a first look at the two theme parks, the attractions, characters and Disney magic waiting in the heart of Southern California.

Disneyland California may be smaller than its Florida cousin, but that’s part of what makes it such a lovely Disney experience.

You’ve got two theme parks sitting right beside each other, so going from Disneyland Park to Disney California Adventure doesn’t involve buses, boats or planning half your day around getting from one place to another. Everything feels wonderfully close.

Disneyland Park is where it all started. There are attractions here that generations of families have grown up with, alongside Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and newer experiences that keep the park moving forward.

Then there’s Disney California Adventure, and the atmosphere changes completely. Cars Land is one of those places that really comes alive as the sun goes down, Pixar has a huge presence and Avengers Campus brings MARVEL into the mix.

And Disneyland doesn’t have to take over your entire California holiday either. Spend a few days immersed in Disney, then carry on to the beaches, Los Angeles, San Diego or wherever your California adventure takes you next.

That’s one of the things we really like about it.

Disneyland can be the holiday, or it can be one brilliant part of something much bigger.
