Nickelodeon Riviera Maya is the sort of resort where the family holiday really is the main event. There’s always something going on, whether that’s heading for another day at Aqua Nick, meeting Nickelodeon characters or discovering who in the family is brave enough to volunteer for a sliming.

Aqua Nick is a huge part of the experience here, with waterslides, splash areas and plenty to keep everyone entertained. It’s somewhere you can easily spend hours without realising quite how much of the day has disappeared.

Away from the waterpark, there’s still plenty happening around the resort, but you don’t have to spend every minute rushing from one thing to another. You’re in Mexico after all. There are pools to enjoy, good food to work your way through and plenty of opportunities to simply slow down and enjoy being on holiday together.

And that’s really what we like about Nickelodeon Mexico. It doesn’t ask the grown-ups to sacrifice their holiday so the kids can have theirs.
